This activity is intended for family physicians, internists, gynecologists, geriatricians, endocrinologists, and cardiologists who are engaged in the care of patients with type 2 diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol in primary care settings.
After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

In your daily practices, you are often tasked with more than providing health - you need to communicate about the concept and behaviors of health. YOU therefore become the health communicator.
In this course, you'll learn how to tailor your communication based on how a patient processes information, identify how to use “credibility” and “liking” to improve communication effectiveness, and identify how to incorporate beneficent persuasion into health coaching for optimal patient outcomes.
